About a year ago I mention that anti-corruption was one of the key goals of e-government in the developing world. I suggested that Mpls look into these tools for better service and accountability.
I ran into this flash animation - the last 2/3 is quite profound - (why don't we have this for all city/county/state services in MN - we can do better): http://english.metro.seoul.kr/open/down/es640.html Written documentation: http://english.metro.seoul.kr/government/policies/anti/civilapplicatio ns/ I know that this system may be available for use by other governments (open source perhaps) and would be glad to connect city folks with contacts in Korea.
