Those of us who were taxed OUT of Minneapolis are still paying for more than
a decade of the City's mindless spending.

Last year, handouts from federal, state, and county coffers paid to
Minneapolis totaled $187,839,000.  It's a darn good thing too - because YOU
VOTERS spent $542,590,000 despite the fact that you only collected
$306,027,000.

Even with the heavy subsidies from US, you still came up short $48,824,000.
Let's hear your ideas for funding the deficit - because frankly, I'm tired
of paying YOUR bills.

This post is in response to Mr. Jim Mork's comment:

"Yes it is quite true that MANY people have an
�interest� in Minneapolis.  For example, there
seem to be a lot of surburbanites who have an
�interest� in Minneapolis taxpayers footing a lot
of costs for a stadium.  We who have to PAY those
costs figured that out and declined to volunteer.
 That�s the kind of thing that makes me very
reluctant to take the advice of those exempt from
our tax bills."
