I am not sure what happened in the end, but the endorsement committee voted not to recommend for or against endorsement (can't recall the actual wording).
This recommendation went to the city committee, who had to act on it. If the city committee decides to hold an endorsing convention, then the delegates to that convention would be the ones who would decide endorsement. Anyway, I guess if Lucky is "not seeking endorsement", then he probably doesn't want the Republican city committee to go through the endorsing process and a convention. Lucky Rosenbloom did get Republican endorsement running for State Senate in SD 61. The statements I wonder about from Lucky Rosenbloom are the statements that he served as "Dean" of one of the metro area high schools (I think North High). I didn't know there was such a position. He made the statements about being Dean at the screening, and a one nation news article about Lucky Rosenbloom also stated that Lucky Rosenbloom had served as "Dean" at a high school. This is what I found about Lucky on a google search: AS IT HAPPENS TUESDAY, AUG. 22, 2000 CLUFF & KELLY Lucky Rosenbloom is a high school teacher, political activist and radio talk show host in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For the past few weeks, he's recruited black drivers to travel through the twin cities with tape recorders that roll when the police pull them over. Lucky Rosenbloom is in St. Paul. I think the statements by candidates that the Star Tribune should verify are the ones talking about their employment.
