Actually we number crunchers are doing that kind of figuring as we all speak today. However, I am very impressed with our growth out state from 4 years ago shown just by the number in counties we have at this moment. And you are right - Hennepin County is a heavy weight as are Ramsey, Anoka, Washington, Dakota and Scott. Most interesting result in the state for us is Ottertail County (with highest numbers for the rural/outstate counties. But your message is well taken - there are a lot of Greens in Minneapolis. I saw a tape from a new precinct 2-xx (old 9-xxx) and I couldn't believe the Green votes - it was pretty unbelievable. Those Seward/fringe Longfellow votes, hmmm! The General numbers will be very interesting, Many of the candidates will be receiving matching funds from the state and our Governor's candidate will be on mainstream TV media. So the point: the Greens are growing very, very fast so things may not be holding a lot of victories this year but in 4 and 8 years will be the true tests. And with Mayor Rybak's Green Initiatives and a deep rooted commitment that seems to be rising up around sustainability issues (key to the Green Platform) throughout this City, in another decade Minneapolis may truly be Green in more ways than one. We can only hope, Peace, Annie Young East Phillips
