For starters, I've never been a fan of Joe Biernat and if he
wants to resign tomorrow, I'd say, Take It Away, Mr. Biernat. Don't
let the door hit you on the way out.
But last summer, I took Cipro for a bladder infection and
within a few days, I had the worst stomach pain of my life. It was
right up there with childbirth and Third World dysentery episodes. I
thought I'd been poisoned. If the FBI had walked in during this
time, I'd have confessed to anything, free plumbing, hiding Osama
behind in our garage, overdue library books, whatever Agent Boylan
wanted to hear.
In short, I trust the part about Joe's tummy. I don't trust
anything else, but hey, at least it's something.
