I agree with you on the question of using computers in the kindergarten 
classroom, especially the half day programs.  And, as far as I know, the 
dept of research, evaluation, and assessment doesn't actually do much 
research, evaluation, and assessment related to the effectiveness of 
anything that teachers are doing in the classroom.
