September 30th, next Monday, is the deadline for Brookfield to pay Minneapolis $17.4 million.
If Brookfield doesn't pay, the struggling Minneapolis taxpayers will have to. It seems to me that our Mayor and City Council will have to choose between the rich municipal bondholders and their constituents who are trying to make ends meet. Will the real Democrats please step forward?
