I think it's really wrong to call any Minneapolitan anti-American for opposing the war, especially those on this list. Dissent is as American as apple pie, even if it sticks in a few more people's craws. Such rigid rhetoric will only distract from a real discussion of the issues. And by the way, let's please remember that the war is not a subject for debate here, only its Minneapolis effects. If war talk pulls us apart and makes us forget we all strive for a better community, whatever our opinions, that's a terrible thing.
