Naming me here is demagogic. I highly resent this use of my name as a child killer, in a gratuitous fashion. I happen to be highly involved in efforts to reduce all pollution through my efforts and support of the Earth Protector Organization which is headquartered in North Mpls. in space I provide.
Also as a small businessman called landlord, I am always seeking to preserve existing housing. I recycle so many used items into my buildings keeping them out of the landfill or incinerator. My efforts also, in a tiny incremental way, reduce the need to tap natural resources to manufacture new building products. The short list of items I recycle: Mis-mixed paint (100 gallons this year), used window glass (much), used kitchen and bathroom fixtures, cabinetry, and hardware (often), used clothing as rags (exclusively), light fixtures (antique to modern), tenant items and furniture (too often left behind at move-out) I forward to needy families, even tenants/renters who have had bad breaks but con/convince me that they deserve another chance. I could go on (and on) as I think of the stuff I have reused in twenty years of responsible Landlording. Stop pedaling trashtalk, as you do not know me Mr. Hoover.
