Keith says;
The Victor "Victrola" was a phonograph only. It had acoustic sound and
wind-up mechanical drive. It used no electricity. There was a combo unit
later, in a large cabinet, called "The Victor, Victrola with Radiola" (circa
1928). The phono sound was still acoustic, but the turntable was driven by
electricity, as I recall (I owned one). The radio, of course, was
electrically amplified.

The antique biz in Mpls. has really diminished. There are very few sole
proprietors any longer. The antique mall phenomena so huge throughout the
State has barely grazed this town and not weathered very well. The Internet
has changed the dynamic even further here.

Would others care to name great MPLS. Collectibles. Foshay souvenirs come to
mind here.
