David Brauer noted:
Steve Brandt's story also mentions a national food
distributor interested in a Latino market in the Sears
building.

David Piehl comments:

The article referred to and Edina based retailer,
which is Nash Finch - that means it is their "Avanza"
format of Nash Finch retail stores. Avanza has been
very successful for Nash Finch and the communities
they serve. Though Nash Finch is a national food
retailing giant headquartered in Edina, MN., they
don't yet have any metro area corporate owned stores.
Area residents have often described the area as
underserved by the existing configuration of grocery
stores, so this is a great fit for development goals
and services for area residents. It will be great to
add another venue, and the word I have heard is that
Nash Finch's project is a "go" for the site WITHOUT
the $150 million Access Project!! (What a bargain!)
That's extra interesting since some people, including
Peter McLaughlin, promote the Access Expansion Project
as a necessary development tool - I wonder what kind
of development they are referring to?
