18 of my single family homes did not have garages behind them when I bought them in the late 1990s. After we rehabbed the houses, we sent letters to our tenants asking them if they would pay an extra $75 per month for a new 22 X 22 garage with door opener. Every single tenant said they would love to have a garage for the extra amount and we built them over a 2 year period. All I can say is tenants sure do love garages!
