Hello all, I have been doing a lot more biking this week thanks to being carless for the moment, and I am wondering why the city is not requiring new businesses and apartments to provide a space to park a bike? It couldn't cost that much, and it just might encourage more biking, (biking, as everyone knows, makes this city feel like a smaller, friendlier, cleaner town). I know the new development going up over here is providing .8 parking spaces per apartment unit, so maybe they could also provide .2 bike parking slots per unit, as well. Just a thought.
