Dear fellow list members,
David Brauer as called my attention to the corrected voter turnout stats for
State Senate District 60 in Southwest Minneapolis - turnout there was 75
percent, not 30 percent as the Secretary of State's website had reported.
Thank you David.
Still, it seems that turnout in Republican strongholds may have been
relatively higher than turnout in Democratic strongholds - both in Minnesota
and around the nation.
The new Republican emphasis on GOTV efforts presents a strategic challenge
to the traditional Democratic blueprint for winning local and statewide
elections. Will Minneapolis Democrats have the agility to meet this
challenge and in what form will their response come?
Sorry for any confusion,
-Paul
