I'm going to ask the question. The goal
was to employ people of color on this
work site (Hollman), too. Why did they not
get employed??????

Its hard to believe that its been 10 years
since we first heard the words Hollman vs.
Cisneros. The class action lawsuit, alleging
that the City of Minneapolis pursued
historic discriminatory policies in public
housing, was filed in 1992 and was settled
in 1995 by a consent decree. The settlement
resulted in the redevelopment of an 80-acre
site in Near North Minneapolis where the
Sumner-Olson and Glenwood-Lyndale public
housing developments once stood. It is now
called Heritage Park.
