I'm going to ask the question. The goal was to employ people of color on this work site (Hollman), too. Why did they not get employed??????
Published in the "Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder" Hollman vs. Cisneros 10 years later By: Clarence Hightower Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder Originally posted 11/6/2002 Its hard to believe that its been 10 years since we first heard the words Hollman vs. Cisneros. The class action lawsuit, alleging that the City of Minneapolis pursued historic discriminatory policies in public housing, was filed in 1992 and was settled in 1995 by a consent decree. The settlement resulted in the redevelopment of an 80-acre site in Near North Minneapolis where the Sumner-Olson and Glenwood-Lyndale public housing developments once stood. It is now called Heritage Park. http://www.spokesman-recorder.com/news/Article/Article.asp?NewsID=18126&sID=16 Shawn Lewis, Field Neighborhood -- _______________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup Single & ready to mingle? lavalife.com: Where singles click.
