I was at the Eastside Food Coop annual meeting where the announcement was
made regarding the location of the store and I can't tell you how excited I
am about it!

Not only will the EFC bring a much-needed natural foods store to NE
Minneapolis, but it will also (and already has) help build community in
these neighborhoods. Through the NE Farmer's Market, the "Best Pancake
Breakfast Ever" and other events, lots of folks have come out and gotten to
know their neighbors a little better.

And now the next opportunity comes this Thursday when the EFC and Holland
Neighborhood Improvement Association sponsor a "No-Waste Holiday" workshop
where you can learn fun, creative ways to save money and reduce waste this
holiday season.

The workshop starts at 7pm and will be held at the Emma B. Howe YMCA Center
at 23rd Ave and Jackson St. NE

To register, call JoAnne at 612-788-1314

Hope to see you there!
