There is an interesting article in the current edition of the Minneapolis Business Journal (formerly CityBusiness) regarding the restaurant scene in the warehouse district. Using the defunct Picked Parrot restaurant as an example, the article says many warehouse restaurants have or will be converting to drinking-only and dancing night clubs. Apparently that's where the money is at. Looks like restaurants will mostly be confined to Hennepin Avenue, Nicollet Mall or the downtown core.
