Hey, I hate all the public money that goes where it doesn't belong. I wrote
a long opinion in the Camden News about TIF and the Hazards of that kind of
public gambling. The government should not be in the development sector.
They should not own what would normally be private property. And they should
really get out of the real estate business.
Because as we are seeing now, the taxpayer is the one that has to pay when
the TIF monies are not being realized from these huge public subsidies.
Instead, the city should lower all the barriers to private entities, and
make the city a clean, good place to do private business.

Why are you fellas complaining. Look at all the great subsidies you have
supported for NonProfiteers and others. Where do you think all that social
justice money comes from; a hole in the ground in Kingfield? If I recall
David B. thought it would be great to toss $100,000 dollars in a hole in the
ground in Kingfield to move free houses up the street. Please do not
complain
about one or two hundred smackers on this forum; where free houses require
100long and it sounds right.
