The Mayor's office, Tom Fulton, the Shelter Advisory Board (SAB), and perhaps the Z&P Committee appear, from minutes from the SAB meetings, to have been creating secret plans to cluster and concentrate homeless housing. Actions at the Z&P Committee yesterday would seem to bear out some of this suspicion.
Clearly Lisa Goodman was pointing this out with her pointed questions, at the Mayor's staff person Eric Takeshita, about the Mayor's office taking the lead in bringing the issue of the 1/4 mile rule and concentration of supportive housing forward into the public's view. Thank you Lisa.

The people in the affected communities need our elected politicians to be up front and truthful with us. We need RT Rybak and each City Council person to answer this question about your intentions.  It is no longer a secret that such "planning"  has been going on.  This "List is the perfect forum for you to start answering this question.  Having "Staff" appear to come up with plans you have ordered them to make is not being honest with the public.  I know the Mayor, Gary Schiff, Dean Zimmerman, Robert Lillegren, Lisa Goodman, Scott Benson, and other City Council people regularly read the MPLS ISSUES, (and even write occasionally). So I know these questions and comments will be read.

I challenge each of you to come out to the public with your plans. This is an issue that is simply too important to keep hidden.
