Minneapolis police chief lays out mediation schedule

A three-month schedule of federal mediation 
sessions aimed at improving 
police-community relations won approval 
Wednesday from a Minneapolis City Council 
committee. 

Police Chief Robert Olson said that if the 
full council concurs, the meetings will begin 
Dec. 10 and include community representatives, 
city officials and a mediator from the 
U.S. Department of Justice.
