Project organizers are not claiming a decrease in pollution, and the fact that they are intentionally trying to avoid the EIS makes me VERY suspicious; Come on Smith Parker, do an EIS! What are you afraid of??!! Not too many decades ago, if you asked a farmer how to make their farm more efficient, the answer would have been "get more horses". Since I35W was built, and even since the failed re-build attempt of the early 1990's, transit paridigms have shifted to the point that the current auto-only "access project" is embarassingly out of date!
