If the project organizers would agree to a performing
a full EIS, Environmental Impact Statement, at least
the public would have a good idea of the expected
effect on pollution levels. Project organizers are
not claiming a decrease in pollution, and the fact
that they are intentionally trying to avoid the EIS
makes me VERY suspicious; Come on Smith Parker, do an
EIS! What are you afraid of??!!

Not too many decades ago, if you asked a farmer how to
make their farm more efficient, the answer would have
been "get more horses".

Since I35W was built, and even since the failed
re-build attempt of the early 1990's, transit
paridigms have shifted to the point that the current
auto-only "access project" is embarassingly out of
date!
