Keith------ Dear RT, Welcome to City Hall. Since the policies and prizes are being passed before Jan. 2, I wish to ask you a question about affordable housing initiatives you are formulating. Which people from the private sector, small businessmen called landlord, have you selected and appointed to this affordable housing roundtable so far? I have a fear that all nonprofit and no bottom line experience means spending more money with less thought. Our tax money is short, let the idea list grow long. Thank you. Keith Reitman Near North [Mel] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keith is correct, private affordable housing providers have not been included even though he promised to include us.... Keith is also correct about the city spending money unwisely and with less thought....Subsidizing non-profit political connected developers to build 50 to 70 thousand dollar apartments for $120,000 to $255,000 dollars per apartment is an unwise use of the cities scarce resources.
