With the state facing what amounts possibly to a $6 Billion dollar
budget deficit (this biennium's shortfall + the next biennium's
deficit+inflation--which the geniuses at the state capitol voted to
ignore), how can we even consider the 35W access project now?

Before we start dismantling the state, shouldn't we put the kibosh on
all projects that have not started construction? We simply can't
afford them.

In a similar vein, can't we stop paying consultants to play overlords
on supposedly public processes?

Minnesota and Minneapolis are in an unprecedented fix, folks. We
are no longer rich. We are broke. We better act like it and figure
out our priorities. Schools or ramps? Basic Needs or fly-over
ramps to corporate enclaves? Federal money or no, we don't have
a dime. And please don't tell me that the 35W access project is an
investment.
