This is very interesting. What dept. does the Minnesota Gang Strike Force come out of -- is it the Dept. of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, or some other?
May I ask if there is more purpose to these meetings than making an announcement and perhaps letting the community vent? What is the vision of the mayor and chief for the Task Force? And, does this mean that there are more resources being put into cleaning up gangs than before the killing of Tyesha Edwards? The prospect of new attention being directed toward the persistent gang problem generates some hope, if it means something more will happen.
