I was pleased to learn of Lee Sheehy's appointment to head the new Minneapolis Community Planning and Economic Development Agency. He is currently the Met Council's Regional Administrator and I've worked with him in that capacity. Mr. Sheehy is very experienced in the workings of local government. He is a good listener, and understands the challenges Minneapolis faces at the legislature.
This is an incredibly important position in Minneapolis government. The city is to be commended for this appointment!
