i just want to clarify that on the telephone, the man who called me
said that "yes, he was a police officer."
he also stated that the contribution was totally tax deductible.
i strongly doubt the first is true, and i now know the second is a
lie. isn't it illegal to solicit funds by lying to people?

i am contacting mike hatch's office, and i would ask any of you who
receive their telephone solicitation to do the same. i know they are
calling minneapolis right now as my mom (SW) also received a call.
