You can drop stray animals at the Humane Society in Golden Valley any time - they have cages there that you can put the animal in and then it closes behind you and they get the animal in the morning. I have found several animals also and have done this when the animals have not had tags. I guess it is a bit of tough love as the owner will have to pay to get the animal back but I guess I hope that it is a learning experience for the owners.
