Folks, folks, folks -- Lots of contentious discussion threads lately - and that's fine. And to a certain extent, direct criticism of particular individuals requires specific defense.
However, I would ask that all members take the high road both in throwing out serious charges and defending one's self. If someone hits you with a low blow, let me know - I can police that under list rules. But please respond on the highest road possible, in accordance with the rules. Argue facts wherever possible and disdain labels whenever possible, since are the shorthand that often causes the problem. Also, if you think your debating partner lacks a clue, best to tell them that off list. To do so on-list is an insult. Also, watch the slang, especially where it invokes doing something to one's body.
