Went downtown for the Hollidazzle Parade and dinner with a friend, and it was marvelous. We were down in front of The Local and there were a number of people who came out of the pub when the first float appeared, so the crowd was about 4 deep on both sides of the street. The people in the parade were great, posing for pictures with several of the folks in the crowd who'd brought their cameras. And, dinner was, of course, all you'd expect of an Irish pub in America. The place was jammed, too. I hope this is what it's like downtown every night. Didn't make it to any stores, though. Barbara Nelson Burnsville Once and Future Minneapolitan
