Don Samuels is an immigrant??? Has he completed the naturalization process to become a U.S. citizen? However , if you are referring to that fact that he is African - American and AA'S in this country have a history of slavery , then I would suggest that he is as much American as anyone else in this country. andrea jenkins Bryant

The fact that I truly believe he has a MUCH more broad understanding of the obstacles and issues that have kept the 3rd ward from becoming the great community that it could and should be, than does any other candidate. While there are many candidates running in the upcoming primary election that would, I am sure, do a capable job, I feel I am very fortunate in having the oppotunity to cast my vote for an individual that will finally be able to bring the understanding, wisdom and conviction necessary to this elected position. I have met only a handfull of people in my life that I get the same feeling from. This guy is indeed the "real deal".
