My count is 14,116 preregistered voters with an
unoffical turnout of 2061 which comes out to about
15%. Isn't that about what people were predicting?

Olin won all the precincts on the Northeast side of
the river, except one, where Margo Ashmore got the
most votes.

Don Samuels got the most votes in all of the Northside
precincts.

It's unfortunate because I think the right candidate
could work for the whole Ward, but it seems like the
race is split along obvious lines.

One issue that unites both sides of the river is the
arts. The Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association
along with the Northside Arts Collective are hosting
and Arts Forum to get the candidate's views on what
role the arts plays in the Third Ward.
