Hello All,

The Union Bug: When I ran for school board is when I found out about this little creature.  I was DFL., had even been a precinct chair and state delegate, but that fact escaped me.  Maybe I missed something when I joined up, but I was never educated to that fact, and I bet, as Michelle said, that a lot of other DFLer's were unaware as well.  Maybe the well seasoned veterans within the party should hold classes for those who join up, or host a re-briefing for those current members, so as to avoid mass confusion before future elections.

If Don Samuels felt that the two printers were about the same pricewise, perhaps he just liked the look of the printwork better (I have never seen any of his lit, just supposing).  People do have a choice.

And, I agree with the posting earlier in regard to all the fiscally unprudent decisions (aka GIANT BOO BOO's) the DFL politico machine has made in Minneapolis in the recent and not-to-distant years.  Don't folks think that the average citizens VOTE constitutes some loyalty by the officials they elect with them not to screw them over and sell them out to the highest coporate, etc. bidder?

When all is said and done, yes the unions are important, but I think the bug is the least of the DFL worries.  Integrity (or the lack thereof) is the bigger concern.

Why am I so intrigued with this race, and sticking my nose in?  I have family in Minneapolis, and a sister living in the 3rd ward.  Her well-being is always my business.
