A brief note to thank my supporters--those who voted for me, campaign workers, financial contributors, well-wishers, lawn-sign locations and DFL delegates in this recent Minneapolis Third Ward Council Member race. Your encouragement and the fresh December air were exhilarating.

I was particularly pleased at the turnout; perhaps the number of new choices we all offered was responsible for turning out about 700 more voters than in the last primary for this area (2061, about a 50% increase over 1277) .
