"A friend and I went to see The Two Towers at the
Block E theater
yesterday.
We bused downtown and had a pleasant evening at dinner
and the movies
and
wandering around. I'm always happy to make downtown a
non-driving
destination. It's ours, inner citians, go for it!"

Holle Brian has the right idea here. The most common
complaint about Block E is having to pay for parking.
Block E's strength, however is that it is so accesible
by transit. Nearly every line in Minneapolis goes
near there. Though the only movies I usually see are
the foreign/independent types not likely to appear at
Block E, I am glad that the new theaters are so
accesible by transit. If Lund's or some other grocery
store went into Block E it would be very convenient
for me. We need more of these ordinary conveniences
to balance out the entertainment component in Block E.
