Fellow list members:
I submit to you that we immediately engage in the most powerful form of protest to war and the most powerful form of protest for peace and justice and environmentalism we can.
We must protest with our very lives.
If we greatly reduce our use of fossil fuels for transportation we will take the one most critical step toward peace and justice, environmental health and public health that we can take today.
We have all the technology we need to do this now. We need to begin immediately.
Tonight the Sustainable Transportation Project group will have an important meeting to meet and network with like-minded folks, and to make plans for transportation liberation in the coming months.
"We the people" need to gather together to make the needed changes. Those political leaders who desire positive change will be empowered to lead to even greater positive change as "we the people" plan and live for the common good.
Are you tired of being trapped into the same old fossil-fuel transportation options? Do you want to experience real freedom of choice regarding transportation? Do you oppose the ongoing slaughter of thousands of innocent civilians in the corporatist war-without-end to own the planet's resources?
Please come and work with us!
We will meet at 6:30 PM in the big meeting room at Lyndale UCC at 801 West 31st Street in Minneapolis. (That is the corner of Aldrich and 31st, just one block SW of the Lake-Lyndale intersection.)
Thanks much!
