That's Reverend Samuels, folks. Rev. Samuel's resume informs that Mr.
Samuels studied at Luther Seminary 2000-2002 and was awarded a Master of
Divinity degree in 2002. He was ordained at Judson Memorial Baptist
Church in October, 2002 and there's a picture of the good Reverend at
the pulpit during his ordination.

Given the public morality issues that have so troubled our city council
lately, how interesting to speculate that a man of the cloth might be
joining the four attorneys (CMs Ostrow, Lane, Zerby and Benson) the
Green Party CMs Johnson Lee and Zimmermann - whose party and political
beliefs and practices are decidedly high-minded, and the other CMs who
have their own reputations as worthy warriors.

It also helps to learn of Don Samuel's solid background in business
management dating from the mid-1970s, his long commitment to community
service and church involvement, and his status as a singer who received
a special award in 2002 capping a life-long presence in Jamaican gospel
music.

Fred Markus, Horn Terrace, Ward Ten, in the Lyndale Neighborhood and
still smitten with the Green Party among other enthusiasms
