Minneapolis Senator Linda Berglin has just put in two bills dealing with community 
crime prevention groups. Senate File No. 42 would require the city of Minneapolis to 
notify community crime groups of the outcome of criminal proceedings. Senate File No. 
43 would create a gross misdemeanor for assaulting a member of a community crime 
prevention group. Apparently there have been problems with these situations in the
