It was Mark Anderson that advocated for 55 MPH, not
Ken Bradley, sorry! It was a message response I was agreeing with that Ken
had forwarded. 45 mph would be a reasonable speed. 55 would
definitely be too fast!
PS. to those who responded to my e mail, I
drive my son to hIgh School in Richfield so he can play Bantam A
hockey. Minneapolis South folded their youth hockey program 2 years
ago. He had played for South since he was 5, and planned
to go to H.S. there also, (he went through 8th grade in Mpls.
lastly at Anne Sullivan). It is thought by some that in 2 years
another great tradition will be gone, varsity hockey at South High
School. I have heard that- in the past, once the youth program
folds, varsity is not far behind as witnessed by Henry and
Roosevelt.
