INSPECTIONS
"City Inspections must work with residents to preserve our fragile, valuable housing stock and create quality neighborhoods."

- Ensure sufficient staff to work with residents on enforcing community standards. Partner with neighborhoods on clean-sweep efforts and preventive education.
- Institute a system of public accountability where inspection goals are tracked and reported on a regular basis.
- Work with the courts to ensure consequences for poorly maintained properties. Coordinate resources on chronic offenders.

I'd be curious to know more details about the platform of working "with the courts to ensure consequences for poorly maintained properties."  Does Mr. Samuels support the use of the Tenant Remedies Act that the CIty uses very effectively now (and Project 504 initially brought back to life)?  Does he know about it?  Or does he propose some other strategy of working with the courts?  Same questions go for Mr. Moore, though I'm beginning to think the campaign is very short on specifics, likely (though unfortunately) a strategic determination from both campaigns.
