Remember the debate some months back where I claimed
Tom Johnson of Access Project fame was a lobbyist, and
questioned why a lobbyist rather than a community
organizer would be put in charge of community input on
the Excess Project? Well, Tom Johnson wouldn't give a
clear answer, so a few project supporters denied the
claim on his behalf; I believe Dave Jensen actually
put it in the category of "black helicopters swirling
in to get us".

The Southwest Journal article today settles the claim:

Johnson knew the government ropes; he had previously
worked as MnDOT's federal lobbyist, he said.

Does anyone out there believe this is the only time
that the project organizers "swerved" around the
truth?
