Big shock. Another accusation of a man behind the curtain. Who, Jonathan, is pressuring who to withdraw support? This is getting ridiculous, please name names or shut up. What'high level party leader' is discouraging people from endorsing Don? From where I sit, (near Party leadership), there are two DFLers running. The goal is to maintain as many DFLers in this party and process as possible. One race is not worth turning people away. So, outside of vigorous campaigning, who's flexing on who? I beleive it was made clear, and now it's been demostrated, DFLers are free to support whomever they want, only those who ask to be party officers are agreeing to support the endorsed candidate (and they have taken a leave many times to work for unendorsed DFLers). Elected officials are not bound to support anyone. They can, and often do make their own decisions without backlash. This is a political party, not the mafia, and as of February 4th a DFLer will hold the 3rd Ward seat with support of many other DFLers. It's not a zero sum game for the DFL. So, again, who told you pressure from 'higher ups' is making them withdraw support? Eric Mitchell Maple Grove - to Fred Marcus' dismay. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
