David,

Please post these correction on your list.
Thanks,
Brian T. Biele

List enthusiasts,

I would like to clear a few things up from previous posts by
Brian Melendez and Eva Young regarding the Third Ward
Election.

I am employed as a "political consultant" not an
employee of the Minneapolis Building & Construction Trades
Council and have not been since 2/1/02. (Brian Melendez)

Also, I would like the list participants to know that I did
not "pressure" Barb Johnson to withdraw her support from Don
Samules as Ms. Young would like to think. As a matter of
fact I have not spoken with Barb Johnson since well before
the Ward 3 Convention and at that time all available labor
union endorsements were backing Kari Dziedzic.

I did however contact Joe Barisonzi with the Samules
Campaign to inquire if the Barb Johnson information that he
posted stating that CM Johnson was supporting Samuels was
accurate. Joe did not answer the question and encouraged me
to contact CM Johnson myself to ask her. I did not contact
CM Johsnon or pursue the matter any further. I later read
in the Sunday Star Tribune that Barb Johnson was "neutral"
in the election

Take care, and mistakes happen.

Brian T. Biele
