It's not the vehicle that you object to - it's the TOTAL consumption of gasoline.
A person with an SUV who drives 2,000 miles per year is more "earth friendly" than a person in a Jetta who drives 15,000 miles per year. The more children a family has, the more drivers. Are you criticizing large families? What about someone who can only afford a gas guzzling beater? How about a commuter from Ham Lake - where he/she found an affordable house? The issue is CONSUMPTION - NOT THE VEHICLE. I thought Democrats were pro-choice. Apparently that doesn't include cars, schools, etc. Vicky Heller Cedar-Riverside and North Oaks TEMPORARY REMINDER: 1.
