[LG]I got an email awhile back about planning for protesting the war against Iraq today at the Lake Street/Marshall St. bridge, from 4:30 to 5:30.

Can anyone confirm that it's still on???

Peace Vigil on Lake Street Marshall Avenue Bridge

Twin Cities area organizers, Twin Cities Campaign to Lift Sanctions, expect a large turnout for their regular weekly Peace Vigil on the Lake Street/Marshall Ave. bridge over the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Paul.

The Wednesday vigil has been an ongoing anti-war presence for several years. Organizers are urging a large turnout today in response to the growing danger of a new U.S. war against Iraq, a danger illuminated by the war rhetoric of President Bush in his speech last night.

Peace vigil, Wednesday, January 29
4:30 to 5:30 PM on the Lake Street/Marshall Ave. Bridge
(between Minneapolis and St. Paul over the Mississippi River)
