I had never introduced the bill, and I have sent the senate jackets back to Phyllis so she can continue to look for a senate author. linda higgins sd 58 north and downtown ===================== JLS 1) Thank you, Senator Higgins, for the clarification. I should have written that I "heard" this information at a meeting, but that I had not substantiated that it was factual information.
2) I agree with Jim Graham's position that material posted to this site should be considered public information. After all, isn't this List intended to facilitate "e-democracy" and is not some private chat room. As long as material is accurately quoted and attributed, who has a beef? I'm sure that there are other agitators out there who sometimes place posts merely to foster discussion, or those who post positions on behalf of so-called interest groups. 3) Paraphrasing that WCCO 6 o'clock TV news reported that Minneapolis police officer(s) may be holding a press conference at 9:00 p.m. Jan. 30 stating they want the clothing of the person(s) who alleged police abuse/brutality (and urination on them) tested to prove whether or not the DNA of the officer(s) is present on the clothing. The news story from Jan. 29 is at this address: http://wcco.com/localnews/local_story_029183037.html Jeffrey L. Strand Shingle Creek TEMPORARY REMINDER: 1. Send all posts in plain-text format. 2.
