Dear list, Like many of you I feel strongly about the plans for war on Iraq. Please: as we post items pertaining to these issues, I ask you to put a lid on sarcasm, verbal snarling, and character attacks. I suggest we all reread our posts before hitting "send" and do a "venom-check" after we spell-check.
I tell my kids all the time when they're fighting that this is how wars start and believe me it's not easy for me either. We all have a right to be angry. But I am troubled by the meanness that I'm reading in some of what people on "both sides" of the issues are posting. Thanks and let's keep working for peace... in Minneapolis, in cyberspace, and in our sweet world. Betty Tisel Kingfield TEMPORARY REMINDER: 1. Send all posts in plain-text format. 2. Cut as much of the post you're responding to as possible. ________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - A City-focused Civic Discussion - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
