Chief Olson today announced that Lt. Valerie Wurster, one of our sector lieutenants at 3rd Precinct (the sector includes Bryant and Regina neighborhoods) has been named head of the police department's Internal Affairs Unit effective today. She succeeds Lt. Carol Serafin, who is retiring.
