With acknowledgment of other important issues in life and the city, Saturday's City of Lakes Loppet was a gas (though I might feel differently if I'd done the full race instead of the 8K). It was really well run and fun and a great civic event. Thanks to Mayor Rybak for adding something positive and distinctive to the calendar during a time when much is dreary and difficult in the world.
