Minneapolis Officer Charged with Assault A Minneapolis police officer faces assault and other charges for allegedly holding a gun to man's head on a downtown Minneapolis street.
The case made headlines in early December when five-year-veteran Matt Olson, who was off duty at the time, got into a fight with another man at Fifth and Nicollet. When officers arrived, Olson was on the ground unconscious. Earlier, the victim, Willie Cash, saw Olson driving toward him in the wrong direction so he stopped his car. Witnesses say Olson then stopped his car as well, and was approached by Cash. Olson pulled out a gun and threatened to blow his head off, according to a press release. http://www.kare11.com/news/news-article.asp?NEWS_ID=41786 Shawn Lewis, Field Neighborhood -- _______________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup Meet Singles http://corp.mail.com/lavalife TEMPORARY REMINDER: 1.
