Maybe threatening compensatory aid cuts is a strategy to get DFL serious about participating in these wider budget cuts. Could it be they (DFL) are stone walling for political purposes, figuring the Gov will just do the job and take the heat? Lets see some good faith participation in rectifying this fiscal dilemma by those on both sides of the isle.
